Do you have any creative ideas to share?



One blog site I found called Gingerpixel.com interested me because it celebrated creativity in the classroom with beautiful photographs of students engaged in a creative activity. (see Creativity in the Classroom 2) Their assignment was to decorate a plain matchbox then put something inside that represented themselves.

I found this project idea valuable since it provides an example of an activity that was both meaningful, and creative to students. The photographs do a great job in capturing the joy of creativity, whereby the students were able to express themselves in a new, creative way. As a future educator, I hope to engage students in the creative process, and to document their projects with photographs that capture the feeling of the creative process as these did..
